Creative expression and visual beauty have been a lifelong passion of mine. My creativity is truly a gift that allows me to express myself in many areas of my life. Painting gives me such joy and has become a continuation of my “artist’s journey”.

I am inspired by the magnificence of nature and what God has created. On my walks, I marvel at the exquisite hues of green complimenting every color imaginable. Some of my other inspiration comes from reflecting on my life with gratitude for how much I have been blessed.

My painting is also influenced by many artists. To name a few, Picasso for his genius in forever changing and experimenting in his art throughout his life, Matisse for his use of color and shapes, Andy Warhol for his pop art and graphic-like painting.

Upon graduating from college with a focus in studio art, I had a rewarding career directing the Fashion Office for Liz Claiborne. Afterwards, I received a degree in Interior Architecture and Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I then started my own company designing and renovating many types of interiors in and around Boston. I continue working on special projects in the design field while I pursue my passion for painting.

Every day is a different experience in the studio—connecting, letting go and loving the process along with exploring, learning and moving beyond existing boundaries. It’s a continual and exciting journey while painting from my heart and soul!
